Patson Daka's Tweet Of Joining Chelsea Sends Fans into Frendzy

A retweet by Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka potentally joining newly crowned UEFA Champions League Champions Chelsea on Monday sent fans into a frenzy mood.


A tweet from a Zambian Chelsea fan Jordan Sichinga stating that Chelsea was on the verge of beating Liverpool and Westham in signing the Zambian forward was retweeted by the Red Bull Salzburg player on Twitter sending Chelsea fans into frenzy.

Chelsea is among some of the big clubs interested in the services of the 22 year old.

However, Liverpool are said to be ahead in acquiring the services of the former Kafue Celtic player.

A Spanish website has made claims that Daka has sealed a deal with a club which is dearly to his heart.

Daka is a Liverpool fan.

But the pontential of joining Chelsea elated it's fans but was later thwarted by a reliable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano has explained that it was the player’s account and not Daka himself who reacted to the post.

Both the Hammers and Reds have been linked with the 22-year-old who has been scoring goals for fun in Austria.

He bagged 27 goals in all competitions in 2019-20 and found the net 34 times last term. Those numbers were always going to attract attention and it was no surprise when the Anfield giants showed an interest.

Daka has been linked with a move to bigger club this summer.

This is why he was left the Zambia national team that has played two friendlies with Senegal and Benin.

Chipolopolo coach Milutin Sredojevic also known as Micho said the trio of Daka, Enock Mwepu and Fashion Sakala could not be part of the team because they were preparing themselves to join bigger clubs in Europe.
